Report modern slavery

If you’re a first responder working for a designated organisation like the police, you can use this service to:

  • refer potential victims of any age to the National Referral Mechanism
  • help potential victims receive support and medical care
  • notify the Home Office of potential victims (Duty to Notify)

When you are reporting a potential victim of modern slavery who does not consent to being entered into the NRM, you will complete a Duty to Notify as part of this report.

Before you start

You will need to give your email address to securely access the service.

You can upload files as supporting evidence at the end of this service. You do not need to copy and paste the same information across different questions, as we can see all of the answers you provide.

You can download and print the NRM prompt sheet to help you. It has the questions you will need to ask and the type of information we need. You must complete this online report after the interview, or the potential victim will not be referred.
